Last week, University Hospitals Kingston Foundation hosted their spring Women's Giving Circle (WGC) donor group luncheon at the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club. The Women's Giving Circle is formed by an incredible group of women who believe in group impact and have a desire to make real and sustainable change in Kingston's health care. Their monthly membership fees contribute to yearly grant cheques that fund vital research in Kingston. To date, the WGC has raised over $416,745.00 towards research.
One of the special guest speakers at the WGC Luncheon was Dr. Ana Johnson, Professor, Department of Public Health Sciences at Queen's University Health Sciences and past WGC grant recipient.
